Regalia opened in March of 2007 as a division of Hall Closet Uniforms and Apparel. Hall Closet has specialized in internet based school uniforms sales since 2000. For years our school uniform customers have expressed a need for clothing, especially for their daughters, appropriate for that first trip with Grandma to the Nutcracker Ballet, to visit family over Thanksgiving, to attend a reunion, or simply to attend church.
Our customers have found that appropriate attire is available up through size 6X. For sizes 7 through 16, it is a matter of finding something they are willing to allow their children try on. While flip flops, shorts, and a hot pink googley-eyed t-shirt is perfectly acceptable at the park, it is not appropriate for your cousins wedding. It is our expectation that you will not need to pre-sort and only show your child the few items that might be appropriate. You and your daughters can freely browse our store, here online or in Downtown Moscow, Idaho, and make your selections based upon the best styling and color for your daughter.
We recognize that what children wear helps to solidify their attitudes. We expect disrespectful behavior from a child wearing an outfit disrespectful of the occasion. It is not simply a matter of fashion freedom, but a matter of learning. Children need to learn when to call out when there is danger, to point out an error, and to listen to someone who has greater knowledge. Inappropriate dress teaches children to be disrespectful – of teachers, of law, of differing opinions. It acts against our children.

As Regalia Apparel grows, we expect to offer junior sizes and clothing for boys. We currently can order coordinating boys shirts or sweaters for some of the girls’ outfits you see in our store. Many parents shop our school uniform store for boys clothing appropriate for church and weddings. A young man looks great in an oxford shirt with a pair of slacks, a tie and our oxford style shoes.
